When you make an appointment or purchase a service from us through our appointment platform Fresha or when you visit our studio, we collect the following personal data:

  • First name and surname
  • Date of birth (to check whether you are old enough for a piercing)
  • Address details (optional)
  • E-mail address (for communication and confirmation of appointments)
  • Telephone number (for communication about appointments)
  • Details about your health (such as allergies or medical conditions relevant to the piercing)
  • IP address and information about the use of our website (when applicable)

This data may be collected through the Fresha appointment platform or through consent forms in the studio. In doing so, Fresha acts as a processor of this data and has its own privacy policy, which you can consult on their website. We use cameras exclusively for the security of our clients, employees and property.

Why do we collect this data?

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Appointment management through Fresha: To confirm, manage your appointments and contact you if necessary. The Fresha platform helps us manage bookings efficiently.
  • Health and safety: To ensure that your piercing can be done safely and hygienically, we need information about your health condition, such as any allergies or medical conditions.
  • Legal obligations: For certain services, we are legally obliged to record your data (e.g. age verification).
  • Marketing (opt-in): With your consent, we may keep you informed about promotions, new services or products via e-mail or SMS. You can unsubscribe from these messages at any time.
  • Camera security: Our studio is equipped with surveillance cameras for the security of our staff, clients and property. These cameras are located in public areas, such as the entrance, studio. No cameras are pointed at the treatment table or other private areas.

How do we secure your data?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or theft. These measures include:

  • Secure storage in Fresha: Fresha ensures the secure storage of your data in their platform, which meets the highest security standards.
  • Camera security: Camera images are stored on a secure system and can only be accessed by authorised staff. Footage is retained for a maximum of 4 weeks unless an incident has occurred that requires further investigation.
  • Secure access to our customer database restricted to employees authorised to do so.
  • Physical security of written data (if applicable).

How long we keep your data?

We do not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. This means:

  • Personal data collected through Fresha is kept for as long as necessary to perform our services, or as required by laws and regulations.
  • Camera images are retained by default [e.g. 4 weeks], unless there is a specific reason to keep them longer (e.g. in case of an incident or security issue).
  • Consent forms are kept for 30 years from the last appointment for medical reasons in accordance with legislation.

Sharing data with third parties

We only share your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our services, e.g.:

  • Fresha: As our appointment platform, Fresha processes your data to manage bookings and deliver services.
  • Booking and appointment management systems: In addition to Fresha, we may use other software for additional administrative purposes.
  • IT service providers: To host and maintain our website and digital systems.
  • Payment providers: If you make an online payment, third-party payment providers process your data. These providers comply with all security and privacy requirements.
  • Security services: In case of incidents, we may share camera images with authorities or security companies, if required by law.
  • We have entered into a processing agreement with all third parties we work with, including Fresha, to protect your data. We never sell your data to third parties.

    • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
    • Request deletion of your data if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

    Camera footage

    Our studio uses surveillance cameras to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and property. Camera footage is used for security purposes only and is automatically deleted after 4 weeks as standard, unless there is an incident that requires further investigation. Camera footage is only shared with authorised third parties, such as law enforcement agencies, if required by law.
